Charles W. Heimermann

A gifted composer in his own right, his stunning 45-minute masterpiece “Mass of the Angels”, was recorded in Russia in 1992. “Mass of the Angels” made its live world premiere for the eightieth birthday of Pope John Paul II in May of 2000 in Rome. In addition to arranging many of the choral parts for “Christos Politico”, the maestro conducted the singers of the Heimermann Chorale and Children’s Choir for the recording sessions at Heartlight Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.
